April marks National Oral Health Month, a time to highlight the vital role oral health plays in overall well-being and to recognize the incredible contributions of oral health professionals across Canada.
The Canadian Dental Assistants Association (CDAA) proudly joins the national celebration by recognizing the dedication and impact of dental assistants, who play an essential role in promoting and delivering preventive oral health care.
"Dental assistants are an integral part of every successful oral health care team," says Leslie Ann Wirth, Executive Director of CDAA. "Their knowledge, skill, and commitment to patient care contribute significantly to the health and well-being of Canadians every day. National Oral Health Month is a meaningful opportunity to celebrate their professionalism and vital role within the dental profession."
Throughout April, CDAA encourages Canadians to prioritize their oral health by brushing and flossing daily, maintaining regular dental visits, and practicing healthy habits that support lifelong well-being.
To all dental assistants—thank you for everything you do to keep Canadians smiling bright.
