The 2022 Job Market Survey was designed to facilitate comparisons of work conditions, compensation and benefits with others having a similar profile of work setting and environment. The purpose of the report is to help inform decision-making by those considering entry into the field, dental assistants who are currently employed and looking to upgrade their skills, employers of dental assistants and others who have an interest in the training and practice of dental assistants. The survey was promoted and distributed by provincial organizations / regulatory authorities to their membership. Dental assistants who are not members of a provincial association were sent an email from an independent party.
